vestibular nerve The vestibular nerve is the balance-related part of the eighth cranial nerve.

The vestibular nerve is the balance-related part of the eighth cranial nerve. It carries signals from vestibular hair cells to brain stem vestibular nuclei, supporting the sense of balance and head position.
