horopter A horopter is the total set of visible points that project to corresponding places on the two retinas and are therefore seen as a single image with both eyes.

A horopter is the total set of visible points that project to corresponding places on the two retinas and are therefore seen as a single image with both eyes. In historical accounts of vision, it was also treated as something that can be described geometrically for different points of fixation.
